SEM are seeking a Site Supervisor

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Working closely with the Project Manager, oversee and manage the day to day  aspects of a diverse range of civil construction projects to successful completion; on-time and under-budget
• Working with the HSEQ advisor ensure strict compliance with legislative and company Work Health Safety regulations and requirements for all site based activities and operations.
• Coordinate the activities of both internal and external staff, sub-contractors and suppliers to successfully deliver project requirements
• Utilise plant and labour resources to ensure the cost-effective and safe delivery of Civil construction projects
• Providing strong leadership to site personnel and subcontractors. 
• Record and effectively manage contract works, variations and day-works
• Achieving project completion to the satisfaction of senior management and clients.

The following experience and attributes are required for the position: 

• Extensive experience in all aspects of civil construction including but not limited to bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, water and waste water infrastructure, communications and electrical conduits.
• A Proven track record delivering a wide range of Civil Engineering projects at Site Supervisor Level.
• Full understanding of all safety, environment and quality regulations.
• Knowledge of legislation associated with the civil construction industry
